Nowadays cinema of ancient Greek myth probably is very familiar. But what if the myth is presented with a modern framework? "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" is the answer. “Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" is about a boy named Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman)." The boy is the son of God Poisedon (Kevin McKidd) who lived in the US.

Once, Percy is accused of stealing Thunder God Zeus in the world of myth. Unfortunately, the mother of Percy suddenly disappeared from real life, at the same time. To solve the mystery disappearance of the lightning of Zeus and save his mother, Percy must first practice with Chiron (Pierce Brosman). In an adventure, Percy is not alone. He was accompanied by Grover (Brandon T. Jackson) and Annabet (Alexandra Daddano). Their journey marked with war against the mustard-monsters which appear in real life. One of the Medusa monsters is played by Uma Thurman.

"Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" is a film adaptation of the novel by Rick Riordan. The movie worked by Chris Columbus who have had success with "Harry Potter and the philosophise's Stone Harry" and "Potter and the Chamber of secrets".
